The TINCT Christmas Gift Shop
It brings us great joy to announce that we shall be returning to our maiden store front neighbouring our lovely friends at Cabbages & Roses, and this time we’re taking a few of the brilliant brands we’ve met over the past few months along for the ride.
Behold, the TINCT x Cabbages and Roses Christmas Gift Shop at 121 Sydney Street, SW3 6NR
When: December 18th – 23rd 2017
What: TINCT is bringing a selection of their favourite brands from the year together. The vein of British-Made proudly runs through us all, so we wanted to create a space where we can share, celebrate and support each other. Read on to meet a few of the brands involved.
The Welsh Girl
Using traditional Welsh tapestry, and woven on traditional looms in Wales, Julie makes limited edition runs of the most fabulous ponchos, cushions, coler cwtch scarves and bags. We shall have a selection for your perusal and dressing in store. From personal experience I can vouch that these ponchos are the coolest and cosiest of pieces to add to your, or a loved ones, wardrobe. She even makes little ones, for little ones.
Jemma Lewis Marbling
As some of you may be aware, we have a wonderful long standing relationship with Jemma. She makes the beautiful paper that we use in some of our packaging. You can also see some of her designs here on our website. For the store she is creating a small batch of marbled Christmas baubles, available to adorn your tree with this year, (Lucky tree) as well as some fantastic printed marbled paper, for the worlds most stylish wrapping paper for years to come.
Spry workwear is the brainchild of Daisy Bridgewater, who we had the pleasure of meeting at The Good Life Experience over the summer. She’s on a roll with her UK made hardwearing, hard – working clothes for stylish, modern women. Think boilersuits, cross back aprons and work shirts – we’ll have a brilliant selection of each in store.
Milkwood comprises of Polly & Jessica, our favourite candle makers. From their studio on the Kent coast, they hand pour aromatic blends in small batches, taking inspiration from places they’ve lived and visited. We shall be stocking a personal favourite of mine, their delicious festive blend. And if you fancy trying your hand at the art yourself, join us on the 19th of December for a candle pouring workshop hosted by the pair.
